Two BMW E30s, one drift instructor, and a closed section of Angeles Crest Highway above Los Angeles. Shot across three evening sessions while the city haze did half the lighting work.

Tandem drifting is brutal to photograph well. The cars move together, but the geometry between them changes constantly, and most frames end up reading as chaos. I shot mostly from the inside of the corners, low to the road, letting the smoke and the descending sun build the atmosphere. The downtown LA skyline appears in only two frames — quietly, in the haze, far below.
